30 mph tractor = "slow moving"? - Cliff Pope
I followed a giant tractor doing 30mph on a long stretch of A road with double white lines. I know that one is allowed to cross the lines to pass stationary or slow moving vehicles, but how slow is slow? About half the cars in the queue overtook, the rest nervously hung back, for several miles.

I think it's 15mph or less. 30mpg is only 10mpf slower than a lorry is allowed to go on such a road (I think)

IIRC less than 10mph is 'slow moving' - but I could be wrong......

10mph it is, and then I believe only specified vehicles. IIRC maintenence vehicles, cycles and horses.

Thanks for that. I'm glad I didn't risk nipping past then.
30 mph tractor = "slow moving"? - patently
Yes, but a tractor at 30 just feels so much slower than a van at 30!
