THIS CAR HAS BEEN RE ADVATSED DUE TO THE BIGEST TIME WASTER ON THE PLANT. auto with swichabal sports box Air conditioning,full black Leather seats, Sunroof, ABS,18" Alloy wheels, Anti theft system....

Saw this ad on autotrader.
Can imagine this chaps temper as he bashed away at the keyboard.
Probably too wild even to check the typos!

I dunno. If I see the wording 'no timewasters' I don't even call. When buying a used car I want time to review things and probably call up and inquire about the service stamps. Some sellers seem to think you have no right to check over the car.

If I see really bad spelling then I tend to think the seller is a bit of a caveman and would avoid. Similarly, 'no timewaters' means he doesn't want anyone to check the car over. 'No offers' means pig-headed usually.

Absolutely. Funny how something as simple / apparently irrelevant as bad spelling can be a good guide to what's worth seeing. I wouldn't say I was a spelling n***, but even so, I've never bought anything decent from illiterate vendors...
