I like the estimates for roadworks around stoke which say time to finish goes into days, hours and minutes!

Nice one, I like the way you can view whats on the Motorway information signs in realtime. So useful to read the ones that say "think dont phone while driving"

it actually goes into years - not due to be completed till early 2006!

Particularly like the fact that according to the Highways Agency no major routes exist east of Lakeside on the A13 or south of the A12.
Just confirms the feeling of the 500,000 or so souls who live in the area that the state of our major roads, and lack of them, is because the HA doesn't realise we're here. Pity they don't mention it to the DVLA/Treasury because those two certainly seem know where we are when they want the Road Tax!

Thats because you have no major roads in Essex. The A13 is a joke, the A127 nearly as bad and the A12 not much better. I do honestly think the highways agency have forgotten you exist.
Did you notice there is no M6 Toll on this map either?

Yes nice to know those roadside signs are warning us not to phone when driving.
