Car tax rules in the EU - Phil G
It looks like my Dad will be being employed with the same company he works for now but in Germany. There is a new car package with the job and I am trying to find out the implications for tax of choosing one over another. I assume it will be based on C02 like it is here as that must be a euro wide standard. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There are no harmonised tax laws in the EU - Gordon doesn't want it; he would lose too muchg Alcohol revenue.

Surely the company is large enough to have an in-house advisor to point your dad in the right direction?
