It could well be that everyone else knows this page, but I've only just found it - CH4 p.532.

There's some interesting stuff on there, e.g. petrol in the UK in 2003 was the cheapest in Europe - before tax.

Bit out of date now- French price of diesel quoted at .87 euros/litre (same as June) yet last week in France I was struck by how much it had gone up since summer as cheapest I could find was 94.9 (supermarket) Belgium quoted as .80 but we went into Belgium and didn't bother to fill up because it was the same price as in France.
