Ha ha, but near to where I live are solar charged LED catseyes that don't require a light to shine on them in order to illuminate, and when some of them failed, some bloke did have to fix them...

I heard they were removing those solar LED cats eyes as they were poor quality-they were being ripped up by tyres and flung around the road causing a danger.

As they say...if it ain't broke, don't fix it....
