Why should I not buy this car?

Can't think why not, a mate of my dad used to have a manual one (he reckoned it was very rare, nearly all are autos) I was 15 and just getting into cars, would get picked up from school in it sometimes and thought it was the dogs danglies.
Although it was new at the time he did'nt have any trouble with it apart from the aircon clutch mechanism IIRC.
