I bought a brand new Space Star 1.6 Equippe Petrol in September 2003 and I\'m very pleased with both the vehicle and the level of service/courtesy I get from my local dealer. I didn\'t have a part exchange and it was an outright cash purchase.
At the time I was also considering the Honda Jazz and the Nissan Amera Tino, but settled on the Space Star because \'it felt right\' and the dealer offered me a good package.
I\'ve just transported most of my eldest daughter\'s goods and chattels from home to university (60 miles or so) and got self wife daughter said possessions into the car in comfort.
I play in a band and I can get all of my equipment (2 speaker cabinets, amp, guitars, mic stand, accessories box and suitcase) in the Space Star and still have room for a passenger or two.
Since taking delivery I\'ve done about 14000 miles at 40-ish MPG.
Any negative points? I had to have the sunroof rubber and blind replaced to cure a water leak and also the radio/CD player replaced because the removeable fascia wouldn\'t re-attach securely. Both replacements done quickly and with no fuss.
Overall I\'m very pleased with my Space Star - it meets all of my requirements at a reasonable price and so far the after-sales has been exemplary.
