Car Clubs - daveyjp

What are people's opinion or experience of these?

Basically you become part of the club and rent a car by the hour - saves you buying a car, and supposedly easier, cheaper and more convenient than renting one.

If it is a concept you are not aware of www.whizzgo.co.uk gives more info on the scheme currently running in Leeds (no comments about the fact you have to drive a Citroen C3 please!!).

Would you ditch your car and join such a club, or is owing a vehicle preferable?
