Astra 4 Dash help please! - LeePower
Hi

I had the center dash panel out on a Astra 4 V plate to replace the clock bulbs & now I cant get the panel to push home the last inch when I tried to re-fit it.

The top part where the clock is & around the heater vents wont push home.

I had all the screws out, radio & I even put those 2 black plastic clips back in the top of the panel.

Is there a trick to this??? The handbook says take it to a Vauxhall dealer.

Remove panel again and make sure a cable or heater duct isn't obstructing it.

Hi

Im gonna have another look at it tomorrow & see if I can get the dash panel in correct.

I cant see anything stopping it, It just wont push home.

It must be something simple stopping it or theres a trick to getting these back in I havent mastered.

Ill see what sunday morning brings, lol

Well sunday morning came & the dash went back together easy.

Must be something to do with leaving a job overnight & starting with a fresh mind in the morning, lol

Anybody wants to know how to take the centre dash panel out a series 4 Astra just ask, lol
