Heading home last night, I saw the most beautiful thing I've seen on the road for years. For obvious reasons I only got a very brief glimpse (and mostly of the back...) but I quite clearly saw that horse.
Looking it up this morning, it seems to be a 360 Spider. I'm smitten......
Now I know that if you have to ask the price you can't afford it, but any ideas how much? Would I have to sell my body, my house or my soul?
(Drifts away in a red haze....)

Somewhere in the region of £114k, IIRC. But the options list is long and tempting, and similarly expensive.
I find the slab-like rear a bit offputting. And the front intakes a bit obvious. (and as for the sides...... ) Nice overall, although my heart was stolen by a German.
I guess it's somewhere between a very tempting body and a small house. Not soul yet - that's more Carrera GT territory!

Duchess - depends what your body's like ;)
Patently - Was it the German's over developed haunches and big muscles which stole your heart?
|
This could be going in a very dangerous direction!
No - I'd say it was more the elegance of the curves, the willingness to respond, and the balletic sense of balance.

or the potent thrust?

Now now. Calm down....
Anyone who knows me is aware that the 911 has a female personality ... after all, anything that costs that much in upkeep must be...
[you did ask for that!]

Only a female would be worth that amount of upkeep :)

Last night I was standing in Cobham waiting for a customer to arrive for a meal - what a tough job I have - when seven Ferraris in convoy trundled through the town, throttles a-blipping. Now I'm not the world's biggest Ferrari fan, but it was rather impressive. I guesstimated about a million quid's worth of cars passing in about twenty seconds.

About 10 years ago I was staying near Venice when what must have been the Italian Ferrari Owner's club had their annual rally. About a hundred Ferraris of all vintages and models driving in convoy down the dead straight beach front of Lido de Jesolo.... .....followed by several hundred tourist jaws hitting the pavement and several hundred male tourists frantically grabbing for cameras....
It didn't look *too* out of place on teh Venetian Riviera, but in Cobham?
Anyone know tomorrow's lottery numbers?

Anyone know tomorrow's lottery numbers?
I did, but they heard there had been a leak so they changed them.
