Honda Aerodeck - Peter M
I am thinking of getting a two to three year old Honda Aerodeck estate in a few months time. (1.8 Vtec if poss.)are there any satisfied (or annoyed)owners out there who can advise me on the wisdom of this? My wife's Honda Civic (G Reg.) hasn't missed a beat in 6 years, so I'm hoping that Aerodeck will be just as reliable.
Thanks in anticipation,
P.
Re: Honda Aerodeck - Darcy Kitchin
The company fleet has a Honda Aerodeck 1.6 estate which has run well for over 2 years apart from a rear wheel bearing that was noisy from day one, diagnosed by me and denied by the dealer until a recent service when they replaced it under warranty. By this time the noise was so loud that conversation was difficult at town speeds. The previous driver was allowed to spec the car and went for leather and air-con instead of the bigger engine. It's a nice drive, feels solid if underpowered and has plenty of boot capacity.
