road test of x-type D Estate - VTiredeyes
HJ have you done one yet.
seen the x-type d saloon road test.
seems ok.

was gona get that 5 series, its an edition sport, so has sports suspension. too tuff for me. so dumped the idea.

anyone here, got on of these X-type estates?
your reviews would be most welcome.
went to see a zircon coloured one today. sat in and thought mmmm nice.
seating feels real comfy. i keep telling myself i need a comfy car, for mway driving.
The lc4 has gota go.
its doin 25mpg. i have to slow down to let the diesel tanker keep up with me for refueling !!!!!!!!

nice, get 10% off.
not gona tell the sales men that tho.
wait just before we close the deal and haggled as much as i can off, and got best price for my heap of cows dung.
why oh why did i buy and LC4 to drive 30-40K miles a year on a mway.
i guess the old saying "because i wanted it!" goes.
jeez, i stand to lose £3K over 3 weeks.
going to change my name to Stoopid ;-(

Check how the discount works - I used to work for Ford (who of course own Jag now) and there was a separate price list for employee and family purchases. The dealers hated it because they make nothing on the cars, so your p/x will be terrible.
This was a few yrs ago, so may have all changed now, but check it out before you have another upsetting incident.
