Does anyone know where I can access a list of these please?

Oh dear.
Not worth shouting from the rooftops if you get that accolade then.
There's some tripe in there.

In 1975 the title wasn't given in the year of introduction of the car but for the year after the election
Of the above I think only the Rover 2000, NSURO80, and Merc 450( which I believe was the first car from a mainstream manf to have ABS - don't count the JensenFF) were 'milestone' cars.

Hmm, the list makes interesting reading: it stands the test of time better than I would have thought.
Sure, there's some cars that wouldn't have been my first choice, such as 1984's Fiat Uno, when the Peugeot 205 would have been a better choice. 1992's prize for the VW Golf was also pretty unfortunate: the worst generation of Golf, if BR opinion is anything to go by. And the 1985 Opel Kadett may have looked quite modern, but was kinda antique under the skin.
But the only real turkeys I see are the 1976 Simca 1307/1308, the 1979 Talbot/Simca Horizon and the 1996 Fiat Bravo/Brava.
Many of the rest were really good, and deserved the prize, and that includes some such as the Ford Mondeo which may not set pulses racing but were good designs which have been proven over time.
Six misses out of 40 is pretty good going. If only the rest of us had such a good record in the governments we elect! :)

Oh yes. 2 misses out of the last six is an appalling record compared to 6 out of 40.
