DVD, it wasn't too bad for me, 'cos it allowed touch-sensitive parking :)
Once I realised that, I got my time down below five minutes ... but I think that if any real car I'm driving ever gets fitted with arrow keys for steering, I'll let someone else do the parking!
|
Touch parking is the norm here! I once, in Marbella, saw a 4X4 push a parked car back a meter or so to make a space big enough in which to park !
Roger. (in Spain).

Hmm - a case of art imitating life here, I think.
After being relatively pleased at parking the car with only 18 bumps, it took me 6 1/2 minutes and 78 bumps before I got the trailer in place. I'd been about to give up so got immense satisfaction from my eventual 'success'.
Just as well my steering wheel only has 2 directions rather than 4 ;)
|
I'm amazed no-one's done the easy thing and driven the car straight forward. You dont' hit anythign and the trailer is in the bay. Granted I never reversed butI did it in 1 second. Did you?

Excellent, this will keep me busy.
You can look at replays of how the best scorers did by clicking on their face. and then replay.
Number 1 on the car park is impressive. A different method to all the others.
|
When I tried driving straight forward I hit the trees. Several times.
Want to give it another go but frustration levels were so high before that I need time out first.
|
Fair enough - I suspect you will get frowned upon for cheating anyway HF. If I had a trailer at the beach though, that's how I would park - trees or no trees!
Adam
|
Adam yes - in real life the trees would have fallen down long before I'd had 78 bumps with them, I'm sure.
;) HF
|
You see HF - now you're thinking OUTSIDE of the box. You have a trailer - your only obstacle are a few measly trees. What do we need them for? Reverse over them! Simple.
Trailer + Tree = parking space.
Well Done

Thank you Adam.
I assume I can treat garage doors, other people's cars, etc etc the same way as trees?

You do lose rather a lot of points for bump parking!
This is the way to do it though tinyurl.com/4oqm4 Would you pass your driving test for doing this way (I'd love to see the face of the examiner!)?
|
I've seen that for real! It was an advert for some far east tyre company and there was a doddery driver attempting to parallel park into a space. Before the reversing lighsd were barely on, another car had slid sideways into the space just as in tinyurl.com/4oqm4
Ammazing.

Espada III - well if you have a family and need a Lamborghini, what else do you drive?
