Hi all
Friend has a strange problem.
Using the ventilation controls you get a exhaust smell coming through only when stationery or moving very slowly. This happens regardless of being in traffice or with not.
It goes away when moving at more than 5 miles mph.
I\'m thinking there must be a slight leak in the engine but can\'t find one.
Any ideas?
Oh yes doesn\'t occur if you choose to re-circulate the air.

Are you sure it is exhaust gasses rather than oil drippling down onto the hot mannifold and burning off?

It\'s definatley not oil and it\'s not like a bad egg smell either.

Possibly exhaust manifold gasket is leaking and ventelation system drawing escaped gases into interior.
Happened to me on a Scorpio i used to own.
