I bought a tall one, the PL-650 Big PELA Oil Extractor as in the first link on here, it was about £48 with postage from an ebay seller dealing in marine boat supplies.
I was coerced by the previous thread on here.
I've used it a few times, once on the mower, which was great, once on a generator at my parent's, and I've done the car a couple of times, It sucks the oil out very quickly, and pours out into a used container for deposal, I also used it to suck the silt from the bottom of the pond when it was new and not oily.
Quite a bit of money, but should last, and certainly cheaper than taking it somewhere for an oil change. (BTW, it comes with 3 different dia pipes, which can also be attatched together to form a longer one)

Easily found by searching for 'swarf' as it made me giggle at the time!

Now, using it for a lawnmower sounds like a brilliant idea.

Er, you just quoted the same thread that I did.....

How big is your lawnmower? I just turn mine upside down after draining any residual fuel when I service mine.
