My sons 306 (1994) has the factory fitted alarm immobiliser. can anyone tell me where the alarm siren is and how to get to it cos it doesnt work, when its activated the headlights flash but no sounder.

Open the bonnet, and stand in front of the left hand headlamp. (okay, right hand headlamp as you are now looking at the car)
Behind the headlamp is a vertically mounted key barrel under a plastic cover. On my wife's 1994 (same year) 1.8 306 Sedan, this is used to switch the alarm sounder on and off. It has it's own key, amd doesn't use the ignition key, so I hope you have yours!

No worries.
Hope you get it sorted.
Good night!

You should find it somewhere under the near side front wing. Wil have to remove plastic cowling. The actual alarm/immobiliser ECU unit is under the drivers seat.

You really are better doing away with the Peugeot alarm - at that age they do tend to cause more trouble than they are worth!
It has been turned off for a reason..

It would be far cheaper to get a new alarm then try to fix the brilliant one Peugeot fitted at the factory! lol
