Mods, I'm sitting here bored, tired and in a generally inquisitive mood. I've done a forum search (albeit rather brief) and I'm just curious....how did you become moderators? I've always wanted to know so I figured I'd ask...

Got an email from Mark asking me if I wanted the job. I must point out that he did bribe me with offerings of a share in his pint, ploughmans and an edit button (one of my own, not a share of his). I've had the pint and got the edit button, but no signs of the ploughmans. (Mark, take note!)

Er.... I was joking Steve; it was only a bit of humour. I'm not coming from anywhere and to be honest really am struggling to understand but if I have offended anyone in anyway it was completely unintentional and for that I apologise but I can guarantee I never meant anything by it.

My point was the MODs do a great job here.ie swearing is not allowed.anyone that says what they should not is cleared.it really comes down to a great forum that anyone can make a point.
but as long as it is within boundary set by them or HJ.I didnt see your point and thought it a waste of time and server space.sorry if I offended but it was a waste of space.someone else could have posted a descent question.and appologise to mods for saying so.

Yes they could but do you not think it would be a boring place if we all posted "descent" questions? This thread is going to get deleted now because this argument is trivial so I wouldn't worry about 'server space' but find it rather hypocritical that by arguing, techincally we are wasting more space.
I think this should be the last said on the matter; a lighthearted inquiry has been blown completely out of proportion. Granted it was a waste of time - I'll stick to posting on more time worthy topics.
Sorry again mods for wasting precious server space and everyone's valuable time,

I think they're great. Gives me plenty of warning that I'm about to pass a Huxley-esque semi-moron.
