Renault Megane Rear Wash Wipe (lack off) - GT_Megane
Is this a one off or does it apply to a batch of Meganes - I've just bought a 2000(W) Renault Megane 1.6 and have found that the washer on rear wipe does not work. When I switch on the rear wash it switches the front windscreen wash instead so I effectively have 2 switches to operate the front windscreen wash. A simple wiring problem I hear you cry! Nope, there is no jet nozzle in the rear wash plastic casing and if I pull back the roof lining I cannot see a rear wash pipe. It looks like this is a factory defect - anyone had a similar problem? Do you think Renault will fix it for free?

I can confirm that the Renault Megane Hatch (2002) I drive as a company car came with numerous bits of trim not fitted from new including all of the interior hard plastic boot trim over each light cluster!! All built (re-built?) under warranty by the local Renault dealer.

I have a W Reg Megane 1.6 (Alize Auto) and the rear wash/wipe works fine on that.
I think your chances of getting anything out of Renault, let alone for free, are slim, but its worth asking.
