Sometimes it goes mad and says the car is doing 99.9mpg (which would be nice). Hot weather seems to cause it, when the weather cools down it starts working properly again. Anyone know where the sensors are on this?

check vacuum pipes on rear of inlet manifold.There is one pipe that travels into car via bulkhead to pressure sensor mounted on rear of instrument cluster.Any air leaks on this line will cause inaccurate readings of trip computer.
