megane spark plugs - Dave Andrews
can anyone offer any advice as to how easy it is to change the spark plugs on a 2001 megane petrol? i havnt seen the car yet but my uncle has asked me to change them on his megane.

Need a bit more info; engine size 8 or 16valve but they are all relatively straightforward. The 1.6 16v needs to have the ignition coils removed first (Torx bolt) Unclip the wiring to each coil, withdraw the coil then the plug. Fit only Equyem plugs from Renault and smear a tiny bit of copper grease on the threads and some silicone or vaseline onto the rubber bits (oooer).
