Bent Wheel Nuts on my Xantia

Bent Wheel Nuts on my Xantia - adam0303
Well its not quite as bad as it sounds but my wheel nuts on the front wheels of my xantia look slightly bent not all of them say 2-3 between the two my brother said have a i kerbed which i had but not hard, he said to change the hubs but someone else said they arent too bad and to leave them. Can anyone elighten me on how or why it could happen and what parts i would probably need to replace them.

You can't bend nuts (visibly) surely? Studs or bolts perhaps, but not nuts.

Ok i change that to bolts but you know what i mean and yes they are bent visibly just slightly though this has been confirmed by about 4 people so far, but it is only slightly.

if they are as you say it will mean the threads in the hubs will have stretched.would replace both hub and bolts which also means new wheel bearings as well.would afterwoods get the tracking checked in case of any other problems.

Just compare them with the bolts from the back wheels just to be sure you're not barking up some tree.
