Should I experience scuttle shake on an MGF. If so, how much?
I've just bough one, and am a bit disappointed with it.

Well, of course, MGF implies second hand (as it's the TF now), so it has potentially been repaired, but in any case, Googling for "MGF scuttle shake" (without the quotes) returns quite a few hits. None showed anything horrendous, though of course any open top car built to real world economics is going to scuttle shake to some degree.
If it is one of the later MGFs, body shell ridgity was improved by 20%, with a reduction in scuttle shake being one benefit. I had read this previously, but you will also find it in one of the hits.

Scuttle shake on a MGF,that really is the last thing to worry about.

Not if he's suffering from it, I would suggest.

Yes, I'd agree - keep your fingers crossed the head gasket doesn't go pop!
Then there's the water leaks into the cabin to worry about....

I understand when BAE owned Rover they designed the F on one of BAE's supercomputers and ran out of time before they finshed all the stress calculations.. (seriously)
