..There's a major problem with the suspension...it creaks and bangs...big style...the salesmen and mechanics will make out you are nuts...Vauxhall are well aware and the field remedy code is 1563.....take them back people.. and get it done before a whole generation of 2nd hand users are faced with the problem out of warranty

And what is the source of this info?
AFAIA, the creaking is just a dry suspension bush or antiroll bar bush on the front end somewhere. I've heard it on numerous Astra's, Vectra's and Corsa's. Hardly great cause for concern.

I can confirm that all our 3.2 Response cars have suspension that makes alarming noises. I thought that something had snapped when I first heard it. Combined with the indicators and hatch locking system, another reason to avoid.
