What should I know about this car ? I have just test driven one, not bad at all and now just under £8,000 with full specs. Tempting. Fun to drive but are they reliable ?
Also where the hell has the 'weeks best deals' section gone ?

Did you test the 2wheel drive or the 4wd version?

We've run a suceesion of Suzukis (Alto, Swift & Wagon R) all have been reliable and dealers tend to be the smaller family run types so very flexible. Generally well screwed together and no grief. They do seem to take ages to run in and as they do the performance gets better.

What's the best way to run it in then ?

Someone in my street has got one of these in bright yellow. Looks awful. However he previously had a Saxo VTR so don't know if that means it is comparable or whether his free insurance had now finished!

Can't see the Saxo brigade driving around in these Ignis (what is its plural name?).

No, definitely not. Think I would look for an ex demo better car for the same money. Don't think they keep good second hand values.

Definitely not at full price. At £8k, it's quite interesting, but it ain't pretty, just quick and slightly odd.

If you like it, and intend to keep it a long time, I'd say go for it, but to me there is just something that says it's a few cards short of a full deck.

dont daihatsui offer something similar for slightly more money? plus the daihatsui is taken from toyota mechanics, and is very reliable.

Feel the need to comment on this again. As mentioned before, someone round the corner has one of these.
Drove past it today and saw it side on - it is short in length, tall and has a small boot spoiler as well. From the side it just looks like a toy car, maybe even a pram!
I just want to stand at the back, push down on the spoiler to lift the front of the car up, and wheel it away on its back wheels!! (And I think a pram's wheels are bigger) !

Just had to get that off my chest!

Those yellow little cars did well on the WRC rally in Wales last year, so they can't be all that bad. Did not see any Saxo's ???
