Head gassket has gone, garage up road quoted me £235 fixed price to renew it. £59 for parts £176 for labour, this seemed quite reasonable to me but I just wanted to get a second opinion.

If that price includes all the other bits & pieces ( new oil, coollant etc.) then it sounds reasonable to me; it cost me just under 200 notes to have the same job done on my cavalier last year.

Hi, yes this is for everything all in inc all parts and vat so if u paid £200 for a Cavalier £35 more seems reasonable.
