Changing Omega V6 HT leads - ipw
I have been assured that my HT leads need changing because of a missfire when it gets hot. A new set of plugs seem to do the trick but when it gets to 1000 to 2000 miles it starts to miss again.
Can anyone let me know how to get to the dis between the bulkhead and the left bank ?.

Changing these must rank as one of the most difficult possible jobs for a DIY motorist.

I know of one independant garage who refuses to do this job.

When I had my MV6 I negotiated with my dealer to do the job for a fixed price - and supplied my own leads from a motor factors as the Vx leads also cost a fortune.

The leads should be good for 80 or 90,000 miles .....

Hope this helps.

I have done this a few times on Omega's. There is no secret - it is just *difficult*.
While you are at is check the coil packs for damage/arcing which could also be your problem.
I advise against non-OEM leads since I have had problems with them on Omegas.

Vectra V6 leads were tricky enough to change - I dread to see what the Omega is like!
