1.25 fiesta spark plug gap. - pastyman
Hi there,

I am about to change the spark plugs on my 1.25 zetec fiesta.
The Haynes book is saying that the gap should be 1.0mm, but this is for a champion plug, i have original fit motorcraft plugs from a ford dealer, does anyone know the correct gap for these plugs, they are AYFS 22C. I think they may be 1.3mm, can anyone confirm this please ?.

Can anyone help me, I need to replace the plugs on my 96 fiesta 1.25,

I have bought NGK Spark Plugs , could anyone tell me the distance to set them.

the distance should be about arms length but the gap is pre set on new ones

If they're PTR5A-13 then the gap is 1.3mm. [They should be pre-set to that gap, as that's the reason for the 13 behind the number.]
