Hi Guys,
Am considering having just a back box fitted to my corsa as have a pea shooter at present and can\'t afford full system.
some people have said that it is waste of time and money as will just need re-doing every five minutes?
Views please gentlemen.
Cheers.

If you are going to keep the car a while and the middle section is OK then go for a genuine Masterfit back box which will match the original Vauxhall quality. In my experience they could be 50% more expensive but last twice as long as the items from the fast fit chains. I got 10 years out of the original fit exhaust on my Cavalier and about three years on the Kwik Fit replacements. I once had a Mk1 Cavalier that ate back boxes every 18 months so I had a stainless steel back box fitted to cure this problem until after several more years the rest of the system rotted through and it was all converted to stainless steel.

cheers for that....this is the description of the second hand one i have seen....
Vauxhall Corsa 1.4/1.6i Ecotec Exhaust BackBox-Second Hand.
Taken off a Corsa Sport T-reg....should fit most 1.4/1.6i Corsa's (N-reg onwards).
Have heard running-DOES NOT BLOW or LEAK, but sounds good-STANDARD VAUXHALL EXHAUST-NOT AN AFTERMARKET ONE!
does this mean it is a good one??
sorry...new to this!!!

Sounds OK to me....aslong as it will mate up to your present mid-system.
