best tyres for mb clk230 - steve_m
I bought a used clk230 with a mixture of 2 Pirelli6000 on front and rear and 2 Contisport on front and rear. I am less than happy with handling and road noise and need to upgrade to a new set soon.

Any ideas on best tyres for this car for handling and
quietness?

I have just changed from P6000s to contis on my V220
Noise level MUCH better,Handling is much better,although not quite the same level of grip,on the limit.

Goodyear Eagle F1 for performance, or Goodyear Eagle NCT5 for grand touring comfort and wear.

I've changed to Goodyear Eagle F1 on my Rover 820 VS (215/45ZR17). Comfortable, quiet and fantastic in the wet (ABS threshold is especially superb). Very highly recommended.

I understand from friends that Dunlop SP9000s are similarly impressive.
