does anybody know ,where to get a turbo for my pug 405gldt,the normal shop bought ones are just plain carp(not very fast),as i understand it ,peugeot turbo units are downtuned in the workshop when built,any ideas please.i know the above statement is true as peugeot have told me themselves.many thanks

If you're hellbent on souping up your 405 then try TurboTechnics

The amount of turbo boost depends on the setting of the wastegate valve. If you wanted higher performance you could take a peugeot supplied turbo and adjust it to give 1.2 bar instead of the stock 1 bar to get another 15-20 bhp. you would also need to have the injection pump settings changed.
