Annoying suspension - vw passat - christos41
Does anyone have the same problem I have a \'99 passat tdi 110bhp estate (sport variant)My rear suspension makes some very strange noises can\'t tell from which side .Any suggestions it would ceratinly save my sanity .

have a mate lie under the car, whilst you gently bounce it, he may then pinpoint which side it's coming from, and from which moving component.

My 2001 Passat TDI 130 has just had the o/s/f lower wishbone replaced, plus some suspension guides. Also the n/s/r spring holder had
become 'dislocated', symptoms for the problem were a knocking from the front at low/medium speeds over poor surfaces but funny enough not on speed bumps (probably because both left and right were under equal compression).

This was on the 4th attempt and only after the leasing company had been involved.
