From this morning, each time I log back in, topics that I decided not to read last time remain 'new'.
What has changed? Is this a good thing?

Nothing changed. If you have not read it as far as the machine is concerned it is still new to you. If you click on mark as read you will avoid this feature.

I wish this happened on my computer. If I log off the site, when I come back the things that I haven't yet read are no longer marked as 'new'. I think it would be a very good thing though, because obviously when I don't have a chance to read all the posts I want to, then it would be good for them still to appear as 'new' next time I'm here so I know they exist.
I think maybe the Mods have bugged my computer to prevent me from contributing to as many threads as they can. ;)))

Happens on my pc as well HF. Which is a pain because either I have to make sure I read all new msgs before logging off, or try and remember where I got to and then do a date/time search.
