Can't believe what I saw tonight - parked up was an 04 reg Fiesta with lights in his windscreen washers! These were white and not the usual boy-racer blue.
Either these are now a factory fit option or they were the owners first priority when he took delivery of his new car!
Wonder if he has invalidated the warranty in its first 24 hours....

To paraphrase a well known grumpy old devil - I don't believe it!
As you say, either they are standard fitment (need to do some research on this) or the washer light syndrome has got a grip on everyone.
Wouldn't fancy taking a screwdriver or similar to remove the originals on brand new paintwork - one slip and ouch!

Stadard fit? I doubt it.
Just the latest 'trend' methinks. And sad...

At least they might be legal.
You are only supposed to show white or orange lights at the front.
Unless you have a BMW- then you can show all the colours of the rainbow.
|
|
eh ? Surely any colour as long as it isn't red, now even BMWs don't do that.
|
I exagerrated about the BMW headlights, but they do seem to have a multi-coloured fringe around the edges -red must be in there somewhere!
As far as I recall the old construction and usage act insists on only yellow or white light at the front(unless you are in the emergency services).
