Renault Clio Dynamic 1.5 Diesel 2008 - Clutch Stuck on my Renault Clio - FrCrilly

Hi All,

The clutch is stuck on my Renault Clio.

When I push the clutch pedal down, it sticks at the bottom and I am then unable to change gears.

I have tried replacing the clutch master cylinder, but this hasn’t worked.

Any ideas?

Possibly a problem with the clutch or slave release system inside the gearbox.

I would guess a failed cylinder - the master has been done, so maybe the slave. Did you try lifting the clutch pedal and pumping it to restore pressure ?

When this happened quite suddenly to my Pug 207 last winter I could drive far enough to reach my indy for repairs. He changed both cylinders, not knowing which had failed.
