Anyone know what was the highest number of replies to a message and its subject.
Mine at present with 'New City Rover' stands I think at 133 replies.
Can it be beaten ??

I have a question would be a single thread if it were a) possible and b) I had let it.
There are 34 volumes (which surprises me) and they probably average 90 notes per thread which would mean over 3,000 replies.
I\'d say that would win.
This thread, on the other hand, isn\'t going to get anything like that far.

Now there's a challenge.
Chaps (of both sexes), are we up to this? Only problem is, Mark can cheat and lock it... Maybe he'll move it to 'I have a question' and then it will be the longest thread, but it'll mean that his thread will be the longest...
More likely, he'll delete it because it's a load of tosh!

We had a pretty good 122 replies on my Four wheel drive danger thread. That was in December.
The mods of course will not allow any further threads on such a contentious issue!

Yes, but the magic numbers were curbed after it was hijacked as an England-for-the-cup thread. (tentative links to MATT dawson, mat Rogers etc, as well as Austin Healy)
Had it been allowed to run, and HJ/the mods hadn't allowed a "we won the cup" thread, it would still be alive today.
Oh, and England are apparently playing against Italy in some game or other on Sunday ... not a Healy in sight...

Come on Ian - I have not seen this years teams but from last years six nations we had in the Scottish team McLaren and Mower ( motor of course ).
Wales positively throbbed with the power of Morgan , Cooper and Williams ...

Anyway, my cash is on the Taffs to come second in the 6-nations.
