Does anyone out there own one of these rare breeds ?
The vacumm diaphrams are always open on mine & wonder if anyone out there had the same fault & could pass on some much needed info to rectify the problem.

Do not under stand your question. Not enough information !!. What diaphrams and what do you mean open. Can you suck air through them ?? Regards Peter

The diaphrams that open the butterflies at either end of the ACAV system ?... The engine sucks air in thru the small inlets on the ACAV system below 1800rpm, above 1800rpm the diaphrams should retract thus opening the butterflies to suck air in thru both small & large inlets on the ACAV system, mine are always in the open postion & do not close below 1800rpm as they should ? I have recently carried out a decoke gasket change & cambelt change, the hose configuration to the ACAV system/diaphrams is correct but still they do not close i have tried Citroen but they dont seem to be able to rectify the problem ? any ideas ???
