Number plate lights on Nissan Micra - Millers57
My daughter is about to take her practical driving test in a Nissan Micra 1996 1000cc 1996 5 door model shortly which we purchase for her 21st.Her driving instructor pointed out the rear licence plate lights were out and they need to be sorted for her test.Today I have replaced both bulbs and checked the fuses but they still refuse to work.Any ideas anyone as I am struggling what to do next,

Are these light in the boot door, if so I suspect the wire wah broken. Surely the test is during the day so it is not a problem but it may be on your daughters mind thou. Regards Peter

Peter,yes the lights are in the tailgate.Thanks for your suggestion as it seems to be the most likely reason for the fault.I think what the instuctor said to my daughter is not likely to be a problem but it does not help her with another think to worry about,
