I'm unable to access either the AA or RAC web sites.

Anyone know if there is a problem on the Internet?

Just tried to access them for you and but RAC.co.uk comes up with .Placeforprono.com so din't go there. Use a search engine to access the site and if theat works clear all your cookies and temp files and you should be OK. Regards Peter

Thanks Peter. I tried later and got them both. I have them in my favourites folder.

Rather than start a new thread, I wanted the RAC site to check a registration. It belongs to a car which has been driven by somebody locally for about three months now. Her husband buys and sells old cars from their house and there is definitely something iffy about him. Anyway, this car registration was not recognised. Does this seem suspicious?

I wouldn't think so - I tried the AA version and it only recognised 2 of the 5 vehicles I know the reg of.

You can check insurance at the "ASKMID" website and tax at the "GOV-UK" site.

I have not cliked the link here as there's something fishy about a new post replying to a mundane thread from 12yrs ago.
