Anyone know the approx cost of a replacement aerial for a Rover Metro 1993, 'er indoors motor is now minus its as I forgot to remove it when putting through carwash.
I am not popular (no change there then).

"Got a radio aerial for a Metro?"
"Sure, seems like a fair swap"
Actually, as some here know, I drove an MG Metro for eight years, and it was the best value for money motoring I ever had! Loads of fun!

About £8 from a dealer. I did the same thing. Whatever you do, don't send your mate into a crowded car park to "borrow" one - especially when the owner is on the way back to their car, like i did.
Ok, ok, i know it was bad and i'm truly ashamed of myself, but i was only 17 at the time, £8 was nearly a night's drinking at that age...

cheers owen, i will heed your advice, although the thought had momenteraly crossed my mind, but being an honest law abiding citizen i didnt, hence the question.
£8 it is then.

Just get a wire coat hanger from 'er indoor's wardrobe!
|
that would require some sort of technical abaility to fix it, which puts it way beyond my ability!

I went in to a car wash the other day which proceeded to slice lumps out of my car. On inspection I found a broken metro aerial tangled up in the brush...........If I get my hands on the so and so Ill show him where to fit his aerial.........
