MB Part Required - Craig_1969
I have a VW TDi with a dead mass air flow sensor (MAF), I know this because it goes better with the MAF unplugged. Various forums have recommended a MB Perburg replacement instead of the Bosch VW part.

The MB part no is A611 094 00 48, and I understand that they cost about £45 new.

CAn anyone suggest a friendly MB dealer or online store where I can get the best price and the part is actually available?

Frankly I find it hard to believe that an MB MAF is going to be £45. Maybe there's a '1' or a '2' missing off the front?

Anyhow, Eurocarparts (www.eurocarparts.com) are quite likely to have it; try also GSF car parts and/or KMS (Digbeth, Birmingham). All easy enough to 'google'.

If you want to go to a dealer then try your local one - not likely to be much variation in price between dealers.

Many thanks for the europarts url. Yes you are quite right the part is £175 plus vat plus surcharge! I can get one of these from the states for $110. Much appreciated.
