Blue lights - John.Davies

What's the idea of the blue lights shown at night in the cabs of many trucks? They are exactly the colour of emergency vehicles' lights - is it to wind up Plod?

Dunno, never seen them on trucks but apparently those blue LEDs on bonnets are illegal. The ones that get me are the headlight bulbs with a blue hint to them. Swines :-)
