Had a bit of a bump last week and to say I was utterly stunned by the price of parts for my fiesta would be an understatement.
Front Bumper £22 + vat
Near side wing £24 + vat
eh ? Thank heavens for cheap cars !

thats 54 quid now you have to fit 'em then spray 'em pay the fitter and paint shop pay the labour time off road, bus fares for a day etc etc...........
|
|
True, but easy to fit. Compare those prices to just about any new car. You can see why he's happy.

One of my mates once got quoted something like £1000 for a bumper for his Cavalier CDX (I think he had). Fair enough it was one of the posh ones with foglights and sprayed the same colour as the car but that was just taking the pink fluffy dice a little I thought.

ok say 200 quid all in to get it all done thats more or less the value of a mk3 fiesta anyway.
|
where did you get your parts?
main dealer? (unlikely at that price)
motor factor pattern part?
scrappy?

The guy who's going to fit and spray the parts just rang up his supplier there and then and wrote down the prices infront of me ! Just straight out of a big catalogue.
