Could anyone tell me if a cat replacement pipe is available for a 91 1.8 Golf. If so where can I purchase one? Thanks.

You don't need one CATS only compulsory from end 92.

Get a non-cat and get it re-jetted.

Cheaper and better.

I think he means a pipe to replace the cat section.

Most exhaust fitting centres should be able to help.

Thanks I imagined this was some special type of replacement that would be frowned upon by exhaust centres. I shall give them a try. I remember seeing a range of Vauxhall replacement pipes advertised in a car mag butI have not come across any for the VW range.
