Are the prices here and at places like it fixed or will they "deal" on the price and trade in?

I think they have very little scope for manoeuvring on prices and trade-in due to very low margins

A friend of mine went to a similar outlet in Newport s/wales armed with a wodge, they wern't interested in doing a deal on the advertised prices, and further more didn't want his cash, all the advertised prices he was told were based on a hire purchase agreement with the outlet themselves.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I would suggest that site isn't like the GTC. GTC has loads of cars at sensible prices. Those locations that are set up around the finance package are another deal altogether and should be avoided like the plague.
