Very keen on Toyota Corolla diesel 116psi T3. List price is £13900, broker price from ukcarbroker, and drive the deal £11840! can I realistically expect the dealer to match this or should I go for the broker? Anyone any advice/positive experience of these firms? thanks for any comments

Hi Mr. P,

I bought a VW through ukcarbroker earlier this year and the experience was all good.

Cheap prices, no need to haggle with salesboy, no fee to broker, all monies paid direct to VW dealer.

Best of luck,

Cheers CF. Were you confident about the spec you were getting? Were you able to check in writing/ verbally with the broker the car had what you would have expected for that spec? Also what was the waiting time like, same as dealer?
Cheers

Mister P,

After the initial call to the broker the dealer then phoned me - at that stage you confirm spec and delivery dates by fax and then pay him a £500 deposit when you're ready to place a formal order.

My car was a special factory order so waiting time was about 7 weeks.

You are buying from the VW dealer - ukcarbroker justs puts the two parties together.

It's quick safe and hassle free.

I had the same positive experience as Canon when buying Mrsb's Yaris.

You might if you're a very good negotiator and are prepared to put in some work, do a £50-100 better deal, but I'd be impressed if you did a lot better.

I recently bought a Renault Scenic Fidji dci - the last of the old model from Nationwide Car Contracts. It was a UK car and brand new, not pre-reg. I saved £2950 off the list price and over £900 cheaper than my local dealer. The car was delivered to my door on a transporter and then the full amount was paid after I was happy with the car. I didn't even need to pay a deposit.

It was a very pleasurable buying experience and I will certainly use a broker again. I recommend anyone who is thinking about a new Renault or Peugeot to try NCC.
