Classic Car Show - doctorchris
I'm thinking of going to the classic car show at the NEC which is on 8th & 9th November. anybody been before? Is it worth a long drive down from the North East?

They're expecting 40,000 visitors. The thought that too many of them will travel by car has persuaded me to buy a train ticket. The list of exhibitors is pretty impressive.

There are trains from Leeds which call at B'ham International
which is the station attached to the NEC. I went to the show a couple of years ago and it was a very good exhibition.

don't fancy queues....want to drive from Surrey - is there a Park & Ride or place not too near NEC to park then, perhaps, bus it?

Check out the map on the website; the train station looks just as convenient as it is at Gatwick. If you can't resist driving, you could go up to Milton Keynes, Rugby or other intermediate station and park you car there.
