Hi can anyone help Identify what engine this VW golf engine No.
relates to. *EW04352* It's either a 1600 or 1800 MK1or2 also
what Weber carb would fit this engine the existing pierburg is a waste of time

I wouldn't rush out and get a weber installed, I did that with an old Golf and it never ran properly. I soon put the old Solex back on. Despite what many people say, Pierburgs are good carburettors. However they are difficult to set up properly and that's why many don't run well. Find a mechanic who knows how to set them up and save your money and hassle.
