about to change the front pads on a 106 l reg 1.1
is it straitforward. had a quick look before.
do the pins just drift out. cant see anything holding them in place.

Does the car have Girling or Bendix calipers? Girling have bolts, Bendix have slides and securing 'wedges'.

Have just had mine done by the garage - £35 inc. fitting. Is it really worth doing yourself? (No offense intended)

If they have slide out pins, they can be a s#d to drive out due to rust.....

done the deed today it had pins and they were siezed but not to bad pads were £12 thanks for the info

Yeah, they're pretty easy to change....but identifying the brake manufacturer can be a pain at times....that's the biggest bugbear with Peugeot :-(

Why do the carpets always peel away from the sides of the footwells on 106s, that's what I want to know. Or more to the point, how do you stick them back down again?
